No-gi rashguards and grappling shorts, cut and sewn in the USA. No overseas blanks, no bulk-import catalog gear — every piece here is made in America in small-batch runs.
No-gi is where equipment failure shows up fastest. Sweat, scrambles, and constant friction destroy cheap sublimated gear at the seams. Our rashguards are built panel-up by a domestic manufacturer, with reinforced stitching and four-way stretch fabric that holds its shape round after round. Adult rashguards use a 7-panel construction; youth use a 5-panel. Our grappling shorts run a retro hybrid cut with a reinforced waist closure — no velcro, nothing that gives out mid-round.
Schismatic Industries is run by Sean and Mary McCleary, instructors and competitors at McCleary Jiu-Jitsu in Kingsland, Georgia. We train in this gear ourselves.
Designs are released in limited runs. When a batch sells out, it's retired — we don't reprint.
